"I was a bit skeptical about this free program that promised to nearly double your surfing capabilities so I tried it out for myself. I have a 56K modem and while I don't think my speed was twice as fast as before, there was a very significant increase. Some modems will probably be doubled in speed. It will certainly save me hours in the long run waiting for downloads, etc.
Netsetter is offering this free product, not just to be nice guys. They will ask you to fill out a very short demographic survey and they hope that you will be willing to answer surveys in the future (which you can choose NOT to receive). They have NEVER sent me anything else since I marked the box that I was not interested in any follow-up information.
